The Beast Hand

Osamu Kogure is a young man recently released from prison, struggling to survive in poverty while living in an abandoned house and taking on odd jobs. His difficult life takes a darker turn when his abusive former prison senior, Inui, reappears and starts to dominate him. Inui forces Osamu to disclose the whereabouts of his ex-girlfriend, Koyuki, whom he then kidnaps, assaults, and rapes. During a botched robbery orchestrated by Inui, Osamu loses his left arm. Desperate, Koyuki brings him to a doctor connected to the yakuza, who uses an experimental treatment to regenerate Osamu’s arm. The result is a monstrous, beast-like hand that causes Osamu to struggle with control over himself. Despite their efforts to leave the past behind and build a new life together, Osamu and Koyuki find that their traumatic history continues to haunt them.
