A Poet

Oscar, a middle-aged, unpredictable man, is a disillusioned writer who has lost his way in life. Unemployed and residing with his family, he drifts through the streets of Medellín in a perpetual haze, drowning his sorrows in alcohol. He often laments the decline of literature in his homeland, having fallen into the familiar trap of the suffering artist archetype. Yet, when the chance arises to mentor a promising young student, Oscar sees a glimmer of redemption—if he can manage to get it right this time.
