The Ugly

Dong-hwan, who has taken over the seal engraving studio from his visually impaired father Yeong-gyu, convinces him to participate in a documentary highlighting his mastery of the craft and his triumph over disability. However, the filming takes an unforeseen twist when the remains of their wife and mother are uncovered after four decades. As Dong-hwan delves into hidden family secrets, he also uncovers the story of a woman whose identity has been erased from public memory, remembered only as an "ugly monster."
