Mridul, a retired military officer, comes back to Assam alongside his wife and two adult daughters after spending several years working elsewhere. Upon returning, he visits his elder sister’s home, where he unexpectedly becomes involved in arranging the marriage of his nephew, Indu. What follows is a series of unusual and amusing events, drawing the attention of his entire family and the village community.
