A Sicilian director receives an offer from a regional producer to create a movie centered on a significant figure from the province of Catania. Upon understanding that the project conflicts with his artistic vision, he refuses to participate. Despite his rejection, the persistent producer coerces him into directing the film, resorting to threats of violence to ensure his compliance.
