In 1965 Tamil Nadu, India, Chezhiyan finds himself caught in the midst of a fierce agitation that endangers the livelihoods of the people across Madras State. His efforts to safeguard his fervent student brother draw him into a deadly confrontation with a relentless intelligence officer, whose fanaticism is matched only by his brutal determination.
