Best of Trades follows two amateur private investigators as they delve into the mystery of a missing heirloom belonging to Walter Doyle, the influential heir of a once-prosperous Houston oil dynasty. Miles, a disciplined and by-the-book detective, clashes with his partner Jakoby, a daring ex-con whose unorthodox tactics bring a wealth of experience to their work. Despite their contrasting styles, Jakoby’s unconventional methods perfectly balance Miles’ rigidity, leading them deeper into a criminal underworld that catches them completely off guard.
