Jeannie is a troubled 17-year-old girl from West L.A., struggling with her identity and inner demons. As she faces the challenges of school, friendships, and her first romantic relationship with another girl, she also contends with the tension between her divorced, constantly arguing parents. Seeking a source of positive energy, Jeannie buys a Native American pendant, hoping it will bring her peace. However, the pendant unexpectedly causes the spirits of her deceased parents to enter her body, turning her life upside down.
