After returning home from college, Lucy reconnects with her family and their pet chimpanzee, Ben. However, during a pool party, Ben becomes infected with rabies and starts exhibiting aggressive behavior. Lucy and her friends find themselves trapped at the pool, forced to barricade themselves inside while they brainstorm strategies to survive the dangerous chimp.
